"PARTIAL ECLIPSE" is a composition for tape. Using a hold and replace tape loop system, pre-recorded elements of an unheard original composition are fed into the cycle.

These fragments, when introduced, continuously occult portions of the musical material previously present, shifting the rhythmic center of the loop and thereby subtly redirecting the focus of the listener.

Piano / Guitar / Analog Synth / Percussion / Voice performed by the composer.

Produced using tape loops and mixed/finessed in a D.A.W.
